Dude, wheres my sobriety ?

So last night was probably one of the best new years ive ever had, and ill tell you why. First of all the party was pretty awesome. I got smashed and I ended up I think picking up random people and carrying them across the room. I found out I suck hardcore at beer pong. Then around 1-2 Am I had this moment where I wanted to see everyone else who isnt in the party. I had Joe pick me up and ended up going to a restaurant, where I sobered up a little bit and we waited for the other joe to show up (which he never did), that was the low point of the night.

Then, I get dropped off because I dont smoke anymore, and went inside my house to eat some food so I wouldnt wake up completely fucked abdover. And I got a phone call around 3:15 ish that lasted until 5:30, which was the absolute height of my night. it was such a great conversation and I feel so much closer to this person. If I was able to handle it the same way I did last night, my job as a pyschologist would be set in stone. Just the feeling that I might of been of some help was such a lift.

I find it ironic that even though I was deadset on going out this new years, and I did. what made the night was a simple phone call. I guess it kinda shows you that in the end its still the simple things in life that matter.

by the way thanks to everyone for the drunken phone calls, if I managed to answer :)

Hope you all had a good and drunk new years eve :)

I had a drunk new years eve, but it certainly wasn't the greatest. We have to be sneaky and hide the alcohol here at home cause my mom's not so thrilled about us drinking though we're totally legal. She and my stepdad were supposed to stay the night out of town but showed up at 2am...so frantically drunken me hid all evidence and continued to play WoW. (But I snuck a few more shots before I stopped drinking).

And BTW, I'm totally thrilled that you had an awesome new years eve/new years, even if it was all chalked up to an awesome phone call. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
