The view from underneath a cloud
Is beautiful
You should try it sometime
I do
Everything seems to flow in unison
And I'm left wondering
What could be left to see
Touching the ground takes skill
Falling gently for hours
Picking a perfect spot
It’s all natural science
Landing next to another
Frigid air holds no surprises
You’ve been warned
As I watch her
Lazily smiling next to me
I can see what you love
It’s hard not to
Her eyes sparkle
With a twilight
Reminding me of home
What an oddity
How you act around her
There’s a shuffle to your step
Words pop out of nowhere
Don’t be nervous
Second chances are like storms
They come and they go
And your always left
With a gentle reminder
Of what was
I’ll be gone soon
What will you do
Without imprinted steps
To trace her path
We have a saying
Melting with another
Is better than staying here alone
You should try it sometime
Slowly fading
One last look
Her lips mix with yours
Heated gasps dissipate
From long drawn out sigh’s
I’m glad you took my advice
I guess this is goodbye
The view from underneath a cloud
Is beautiful
You both flow in unison
And im no longer wondering
What could be left to see
